Role: Full structural design and underground drainage

Description: Built on the site of the ex.RAF Princess Alexandra hospital this development included 120 bedroom hotel accommodation and a conference / leisure centre with gym and swimming pool. External works comprised of new access roadways, car parking and tennis courts.

The accommodation block was constructed with load bearing masonry and precast concrete flooring, the conference centre was steel framed with Glulam beams used to the pool enclosure.

The foul drainage scheme incorporated a pumped main to connect to a remote sewer.

Following on from this scheme CNM completed a large scale extension to Beaumont House Conference Centre in Old Windsor for Kier Southern acting as D&B Contractors for Hayley and then a further 36 bed accommodation block extension at Alexandra House with Kier Moss.

Role: Full structural design consultancy

Description: Major external refurbishment of existing masonry structure including brickwork crack repair, re-pointing and re-forming of feature bands. Refurbishment/repair of corroded sea facing steel balconies, investigation and re-instatement of defective drainage runs.

This was one of 18 such schemes worked on for the same client throughout the country.
